Do you like to eat any unusual foods or food combinations? What are they and what makes them so good?
I don’t think this is super unusual however I love Japanese food and some of my favorite dishes are Onigiri filled with tuna/mayo, salmon, and pickled plum! They are such an easy snack and are so filling! I ate so many onigiris from 7/11 during my trip to Japan.
What motivates you to do your best work?
The thing that motivates me to do my best work is knowing that I am using my knowledge and experience to help others in their life journey or help them not make the same mistakes that I did. As a first generation Latina student, I wish I had someone to help guide me through my college experience.
What would you do if you won the Mega Millions lottery?
I would take a break from working and travel the world, one continent at a time for however long that takes me! Afterwards, I would like to create scholarships for undocumented college students.
What do you want to learn about in the next year? Why does this subject interest you?
I really want to continue learning pottery! I love doing things that are creative and as a lifetime learner, I have had such a great time learning a new skill. I have had a lot of failures but also have improved a lot and I am excited to continue learning through 2025.
