BUSINESS NETWORK
The Business Network is a key pillar of support for every service Nevada GEAR UP provides. We are a statewide alliance of representatives and community leaders from diverse professions, businesses, and foundations. The Network provides human and financial capital to sustain and distribute Nevada GEAR UP resources and materials, and supports activities to create a college-going culture in every school where GEAR UP is active.
Participants engage with various program components, advocating within their communities to promote the benefits of all students being prepared for college and the workplace. Members meet as a group twice yearly – and more often individually as needed – to discuss workforce and educational issues and to be updated on GEAR UP program activities.
